Windsor is such a solid city break!
Really enjoyed my time here. The waterfront along Riverside Drive is beautiful - great views of Detroit across the river. The food scene is way better than I expected, especially the shawarma spots. Easy city to get around too.
Great spot for a quick getaway
Windsor totally won me over. The riverfront area is lovely for walking and the skyline view of Detroit is genuinely impressive. Tried some amazing Lebanese food on Wyandotte Street - so good and super affordable. The people here are really welcoming and laid-back.
Loved every bit of Windsor
Such a cool little city! The Art Gallery of Windsor is worth a visit and the Dieppe Gardens along the riverfront are really pretty. It feels relaxed but there's always something to do. Food options are fantastic - especially for Middle Eastern cuisine. Genuinely great city.
A gem right on the river
Windsor has a really unique feel - it's a Canadian city but with this cool cross-border energy from being right next to Detroit. Jackson Park is gorgeous. The local restaurant scene on Ouellette Avenue is solid and prices are very reasonable compared to bigger cities.
Perfect long weekend destination
Came here with friends and we all had a fantastic time. The riverfront casino area is fun and the walk along the waterfront at night with Detroit all lit up is just stunning. Shawarma Palace lived up to its reputation - genuinely one of the best wraps I've ever had!
Windsor punches above its weight
Didn't know much about Windsor before visiting but came away really impressed. The riverfront is the real highlight - especially around Dieppe Gardens. Local food scene is diverse and affordable. Feels like a proper city without being overwhelming. Really good experience overall.
